Multi -piece saw blades burning problems and solutions

The multiple blade sawing machine, with its easy operation, high processing efficiency, and increasingly precise material standards, is becoming more and more favored by wood processing factories. However, in daily use, the multiple saw blades often suffer from burning and deformation, especially in newly established processing plants, where this problem frequently occurs. Burning not only increases the cost of the saw blades but also directly affects production efficiency due to frequent blade replacement. So, why does this burning problem occur, and how can it be solved?

 1. Inadequate heat dissipation and chip removal of the saw blade itself:

 The burning of the saw blade happens instantly. During high-speed cutting, as the temperature rises, the strength of the saw blade decreases. At this time, if chip removal is not smooth or heat dissipation is inadequate, a large amount of friction heat is easily generated. When the temperature exceeds the heat resistance limit of the saw blade itself, the blade will burn out instantly.

 Solution:

 a. Choose equipment equipped with cooling devices (water cooling or air cooling) to lower the cutting temperature of the saw blade. Regularly check to ensure the normal operation of the cooling devices;

b. Purchase saw blades with heat dissipation holes or scrapers to ensure good heat dissipation and chip removal performance, reduce friction between the saw blade and the cutting material, and thereby reduce friction heat.

2. Too thin saw blades or inferior quality of the saw blade:

 When the wood hardness is high or the thickness is large, if a too thin saw blade is chosen that exceeds the bearing limit of the saw blade, the blade will quickly deform due to a large resistance during cutting. In addition, if the saw plate is not properly handled, its strength is insufficient to withstand the required cutting resistance, causing deformation during cutting.

b.  Understand the supplier's production and quality control system, ensuring that they can provide the required saw blades;

c. Purchase from professional saw blade manufacturers to ensure high-quality products.
