Maintenance
1. If the saw blade is not used immediately, it should be placed flat or hung using the inner hole. Other items or stepping on the saw blade should not be stacked on the flat saw blade. It is important to prevent moisture and rust.
2. When the saw blade is no longer sharp and the cutting surface is rough, it must be re-sharpened in a timely manner. The sharpening process should not change the original angle or damage the dynamic balance.
3. The correction of the inner diameter and the processing of positioning holes of the saw blade must be done by the manufacturer. Poor processing may affect the product's performance and lead to potential hazards. The hole expansion should not exceed the original diameter by 20mm in principle to avoid disrupting the balance of stress.
4. Selection of alloy grinding wheels.
1) Resin bonded diamond grinding wheels have weak bonding strength, therefore they have good self-sharpening performance during grinding, are less prone to clogging, have high grinding efficiency, low grinding force, and low grinding temperature. However, they have poor wear resistance and high abrasion of the grinding tool, making them not suitable for heavy load grinding.
2) Ceramic bonded diamond grinding wheels have better wear resistance and bonding ability than resin bonded ones. They are sharp in cutting, have high grinding efficiency, are less prone to heat generation and clogging, have low thermal expansion, are easy to control precision. The downside is that their grinding surface is rough and they are more costly.
3) Metal bonded diamond grinding wheels have high bonding strength, good wear resistance, low wear, long lifespan, low grinding cost, can withstand large loads, but have poor sharpness and are prone to clogging.
4) The particle size of abrasive materials has a certain impact on the clogging and cutting volume of grinding wheels. Compared with fine abrasive grains, coarse ones have a greater cutting depth, leading to greater abrasion of the cutting edge, while fine abrasive grains make the grinding wheel more prone to clogging.
5) The hardness of grinding wheels has a significant impact on clogging. High hardness grinding wheels have high thermal conductivity, which is not conducive to surface heat dissipation but beneficial for increasing processing accuracy and durability.
6) The selection of grinding wheel concentration is an important characteristic, as it has a significant impact on grinding efficiency and processing costs. A concentration that is too low affects efficiency, while too high concentration leads to easy detachment of abrasive grains. The optimal concentration range is also the best for bonding agents.
